Recycled T-Shirt Chop Shop July 8

Crispina started making garments from recycled t-shirts as the wool sweaters she began her business recycling, became harder and harder to find at the local thrift stores. Not only are t-shirts easy to come by they are soft and cotton and easily worn by bearers of even the most sensitive skin (not like wool that irritates 50% of the population!). Garments are constructed by hand and machine sewn using simple techniques and can be as intricate as time allows. Wear the shirt you make home after a full day of learning and then putting to use simple hand sewing techniques for construction and embellishment. No experience or equipment is necessary. Tuition for the day is $160 – which includes the use of all tools, materials and lunch. Register at 413-441-9766 or
