The Big REVEAL and FREE Give-Away

The Big Reveal! Display of the Final (and process) Prints of the 10×10 Poster

Over at Shire City Sanctuary…in collaboration with Pittsfield’s 10×10 Festival, we have just finished up a 10 color, hand silkscreen printed poster depicting our majestic former Roman Catholic cathedral.  Each day of the 10-day festival, a color was added and a silkscreen printing demonstration took place at Shire City Sanctuary’s Print Shop. The culmination is a limited edition, rich and vibrant 10 color, 17″x24″ print of our fantastic Shire City Sanctuary building.

Local artist Crispina ffrench designed the image and, with the help of Cate Crowley, the two, separated colors, created stencils and printed the image.  Shire City Sanctuary is excited to be showcasing the process and finished prints with an opening in our gallery this Friday, March 6th 5-7pm for First Friday Artswalk.  The show will remain up for the month of March. Gallery hours are 11-7 daily, 11-4 Wednesdays and closed on Sundays.

This week, Shire City Sanctuary is generously giving away one of these 24×17” handmade limited edition prints to one lucky reader!
